Talavera is owner operated by Larry Mack. Talavera’s founder grew up in and around the construction business and had a passion at an early age to work with his hands, create, and problem solve. While working in high school at his uncle’s lumber yard, he worked closely with the in-house carpenter and soon after decided he was a natural fit for the trade. Larry started to work for a contractor that came into the lumber yard and continued his education geared toward business management, while continuing to work in the trade and eventually establishing his own business. Larry has been a carpenter specializing in remodel projects of all kinds since 1981. Larry grew up in a suburb of Chicago and relocated with his family in 2003 to the Phoenix area. Larry has established a great team of professionals to help him carry out successful projects, from his in-house crew to the trade partners including subcontractors and suppliers.
In early 2014 Talavera was established. After over 30 years of experience working with many talented cabinet shops, it was a natural fit to combine the two businesses and work closer together on related projects.
Talavera Custom, LLC operates as Talavera Remodeling and Restoration and Talavera Cabinets and Millwork.

We recently used Talavera Custom to redesign a master bath and bedroom. The workmen were very friendly and hard working and very pleasant to have around.
